At Speech Bubble Therapy, speech-language screenings are free of charge. Screenings consist of a parent/caregiver interview, a speech and/or language screening, and a review of results. Screenings are not used for diagnosis purposes - they are used to determine if an evaluation should be conducted. A report is typically not provided after the screening, although parents can request a written and/or verbal summary. Some families may forgo the screening if their child already has a diagnosis or if their child has previously received services. Screenings can be conducted at the office, at the library, in your home, or at your child's school/daycare.
